They are not employed on stationary or building sites like cranes, but rather for tasks associated with manufacturing or maintenance applications. These cranes are typically employed during the refining of steel as well as other metals like copper and aluminium. Metal is solely handled by an overhead HOT crane from the beginning of the production process to the very end, when the finished product exits the facility.
